Each strip is a mere 8mm wide (5/16 inch) and is self-adhesive! They are ideal for carriage lighting use, but with many other uses on your layout

— How about a control desk lighting bar? Or canopy lighting on your station?

Supplied in multiples of 10cm lengths containing a total of 6 LEDs, this flexible strip can be cut at 5cm 3-LED intervals (cutting positions are marked on the strip) and the correct resistor is already installed.

It works with voltages of 12V (without external resistors). The additional resistors supplied can be used to reduce the brightness if required, or to operate with higher voltages. The supply can be DCC, DC or AC.

Totally self-contained, with a total of 3, 2mm x 3mm LEDs per cutting section, and mix & match resistors to suit the brightness preferred.

All that is required is a pair of wires soldered to the pads (pads are provided at both ends of the strip, and/or every 5cm) observing the + & – markings if you are not connecting to an AC or DCC source.

• The strips can be cut every 5cm (a cut line is marked on the strip) or 2.5cm with the Warm White Strips
• Power is provided by attaching wires to the solder pads located at each end of the strip. (Wires can be attached to any of these)
• If using DC, then polarity must be observed for the lighting to operate (AC or DCC power does not require this). A bridge rectifier can be used to overcome this on DC, see below.
• The supplied resistors are not required for operation. However, if you wish to dim the lighting, then you may use these in various combinations to produce the effect you require (resistors have no polarity requirements, and can be combined by wiring in series with one of the power supply connections (see below).
• Due to the low profile, installation into your desired location, using double sided tape is very simple.
