A vintage Tri-ang/Rovex P5 analogue model railway power unit with 12V DC controlled output, 12V DC uncontrolled output and 15V AC accessory output.

Tested and working. The controller has been electrically safety-checked and its controlled 12V DC, uncontrolled 12V DC and 15V AC outputs have been tested. The controlled output provides variable voltage and direction control correctly. The original 13A plug fuse has been replaced with a correctly rated 3A fuse.

This is a vintage pre-owned item and shows age-related cosmetic wear. Supplied as photographed. Buyers should check compatibility with their equipment before use.

Condition

Pre-owned with considerable cosmetic wear, corrosion to fixings/terminals and an old mains lead and plug. The casing states a 1 amp maximum continuous rating. A vintage ‘tested safe’ sticker is not evidence of current safety. A competent electrical inspection and measured output test are essential before retail sale.
