A vintage Tri-ang R50 representation of LMS Princess Royal Class locomotive No. 46201, Princess Elizabeth, supplied with its matching coal tender. This substantial early OO gauge model retains its cab number and red nameplates, but it is clearly a used example intended for a collector, restoration project or traditional Tri-ang layout rather than a pristine display model. The chimney appears to be missing and further small fittings may also be absent.

Tested on DC and running in both directions. This is a vintage Tri-ang model fitted with original-style deep-flange wheels, intended primarily for period Tri-ang track. The deep flanges may catch on modern finer-scale trackwork, particularly points and crossings, so compatibility with the buyer’s layout cannot be guaranteed.

Condition

Pre-owned and unboxed with heavy dust, scratches, paint/transfer wear and age-related marks. The chimney appears to be missing and other small fittings may be absent. The tender is included. Do not describe as working until a running test has been completed and recorded.
